LaTeX is a programming language which enables you to write in various different languages and more importantly math. With this software, it is really easy to write huge chunks of long mathematical calculations. It is mainly used by math and physics people. You might have some difficulty with it at first but by type setting shortcuts in order to write faster, it should get easier.
