I don't believe that someone actually thought of and made an effort to pose this question here.

Do you think that violent physical attacks by terrorists could ever be justified as a reaction to grievances???

If everyone does that I'm afraid that at the Emergency Unit we'd have to wait a week to be visited. look, Zizou had to do like Materazzi, he said but he did not act. That means that behind a 34 year ol Zidane there's a naif person and I'm afraid quiet selfish, since he had the responsibility of all his team being the captain, being a represter of France, being in the final, being a man

Depends how violent the physical attack is and how offensive the verbal offense is...

Of course!
And I think that killing could ever be justified as a reaction to violent physical attack, of course!
And I... ? oops all murdered now ... how is it going on?
Maybe I need to think twice?

To be serious: NO, it's NEVER justified as reaction to words. Check your Law Code.

that is the reason , i feel zidane deserved the red card...

but tell me... who is going to ever stop people who love mouthing verbal offense....

in an on-going game your emotions are high .. you know mouthing something bad is probabaly going to get a reaction.. esp. if u try concentrating on a particular player with short-fuse..

but i do agree it is not justifiable

1).There is no justification for a violent physical attack, no matter what a verbal offence it was, for in a game for world championship its normal that there are verbal offences, in the stress times, no one really knows how fare he will offence, just after the game he will remind about.

2).Italian Gazette says translated in German what Matterazzi says about:

"Ich hatte ihn am Trikot festgehalten, dann schaute er mich in einer super-arroganten Art von oben bis unten an und meinte:´Wenn du mein Trikot wirklich haben willst, dann kannst du es nach dem Spiel haben.´ Danach habe ich mit einer Beleidigung reagiert. Nein nach unserem Gewinn kannst Du mir dafür deine Schwester geben.”

Well its a well known issue when two Groups plays Football, these things happens and its not a real offencive.

Translated:I hold ed him on his t-shirt and he looked at me in a very arrogant manner and said, if you want my t-shirt i will give it to you after our gained game, then i answered: No but after our gain you can give me your sister.

No. You fight words with words. People who become violent after a verbal attack, are not quick enough with their minds so they use their fists. TACKY

The ensuing mind damage replaced a once loving supportive guy right into a offended MCP (to assert the least) The media replaced into heavily in touch & many believed the bashing replaced into 'justified'. i replaced into given 5 minutes word even as i replaced into fired from a job i'd held for 7 years. The rumours said me to the subsequent interest & i replaced into back sacked. i replaced into not given a probability to objective & shelter myself that element. Socially replaced into not a lot extra valuable. We depending a community branch of a international Medieval crew - in the different case is amazingly a very open & Pagan pleasant. regrettably Anti-Pagans in the Baronial element managed to get us hounded out. 5 years later people I once garbed were nevertheless hissing at me in the Streets. those were with the help of deeply religious those who should be extraordinarily offended/distressed if one replaced into in a position to cause them to understand purely how incorrect their movements were. In all honesty I doubt they evenrealised that faith performed a area i do not decide ALL Xians depending on the Bigotry of a handful of Fundy Wackjobs. regrettably you could no argue with Vigilantes. .

The funny thing is no matter what Masarati said (I can't fully remember his name) Mr. Z comes off as the bad guy for the physical assault.

Yep...

Yelling 'fire' in a crowded theatre.

Burning the flag... I think in Texas someone can burn a flag, but it's not a crime to punch him.

Doing violence to the truth can be pretty bad. Giving him a knuckle sandwich to chew on can be the best sometimes!!
