av recently been told that there don't seem to be many women of this description who do find a decent girlfriend, and am talking about myself here. stigma and lack of understanding seem to have stymied me and other schizophrenic lesbians i know, and my heart problem makes me anxious not to travel, and very tired. how many lesbians like this do you know have formed healthy relationships with a significant other? av tried every avenue, and nothing works, lol. i suppose the logical answer would be for us schizophrenic lesbians to pair off, only there is the issue of compatibility. come on people, give us some hope, or at least help me fight the stigmas/stigmata.

lol, lisa r, no, u are not my ex gf, my last gf was a psychopath, who clung onto me so she could bully me.
what is the difference between loving somebody and clinging onto them?
if i love somebody who does not want me, i set them free. if you really love somebody, u will do anything to make them happy, including leaving them alone, if that is what they want, which is what i myself do.
you're right about strong people being magnets to maggots though, lol.
thank you for your post though :o)

**** those that care about that sort of thing.
Anyone on this world, regardless of sexuality or race should not care if you are a schizophrenic lebsbian with a heart problem.
First of all, the lesbien bit. It does not matter at all about sexuality, I myself am straight but I dont believe you can choose these things. So, I don't have a problem with friends that are gay. Although I do worry more about them just because there are some people out there who hate gay people, why for the life of me I cannot understand! Also, you probably have lesser of a chance of finding partners as there are a smaller proportion of gay people than straight, but don't let that stop you.
Now, the heart problem. No one who cares or loves you will care about this!!!! It does not even need to come into the equation!!!!
Also in my opinion you should not "stick" together with people exactly the same as you. It is like saying because I am white, English, with brown hair and blue eyes I should only date white, english males with brown hair and blue eyes.
You should date who you fancy or like. If they happen to be schizophrenic so be it, if not who cares? No one can be the same just take life how it comes and be with who you want to be with.
We only live once, so make the most of it. Date who you want to date, do not compromise. Never let the arseholes who condem you for your sexuality win.
Please, fight fight fight. I am straight but totally pro gay and cannot wait for all the stigma to disappear, we just have to hope one day it will and even if we just educate one person I will be happy.
Good luck with finding someone honey, xxx
Btw, I disagree It is not a logical answer!!!!!

In a sense I can really relate to you. i was very sick for a couple of years and during that time I had gangrene in my left arm and it is pretty badly scarred and I cannot walk and am in a wheelchair and have basically lost all hope of ever finding anyone. The last woman I met told me I was to ugly to be her girlfriend. You have the advantage of not being scarred up. You just have to find someone understanding and accepting.

Why would you not be able to find love? I know several heterosexual couples w/one of them having schizophrenic issues and they are in love. You should not give up.

i don't see how schizophrenia would stop you from finding a good girlfriend, i know plenty of people who have schizophrenia and have good relationships, and who cares if you have a heart problem?
there are girls out there who wouldn't care, you just have to find them
