I have an annual pass to Universal and Disney and I have to admit, Disney is much better. Universal has some great rides, but there seems to be much more at Disney. The atmosphere is so different, much more friendly at Disney, but that is just my opinion.

In order to save time in lines at Universal, you can purchase for $15 a pass that will allow you to get in front of all the lines. I would do this if you are on a time crunch, OR if you stay at on of the resorts at Universal, your room key automatically gets you in front of the lines!!

You can do both parks in one day, provided you have the front of the line pass. Then you have more time to spend at Disney, or whatever else you wanted to do!

I believe that Universal has lines for single riders. When you get in this line (even if there are 3 of you) you get on one at a time whenever there is an empty seat. Just tell your friends to all wait outside at the end of the ride. (you all will come out the same place anyway- then you can discuss the ride.) No one usually talks through rides anyway!

We do this all the time, it sure beats the long lines!

You can purchase the Express Pass...they are different for different days (sometimes $15 and sometimes $30). They are extremely worth it though. We waited on some rides for 1 hour or more. And Universal is definitely worth it. You really need to take a day for each park though (Universal and IOA). Have fun.

Yes, the park is surely worth visiting, and the best way to save time is to be there at park opening, and head directly to guest services, rent an ecv (scooter). these are about $30 per day, and worth every penny...you will enter the ride first every time, along with your party...no waiting!

If you stay at one of the hotels at Universal Studios, you'll get a special go to the head of the line pass. Or you can purchase the Express Pass if not staying at U.S.
