Imagine it. Jesus Christ returns. What would he say to people like George W Bush and Tony Blair, both of whom attend mass and follow Christianity. Would he have said NOT to have gone into a war? Would he no wars are acceptable? Turn the other cheek? What would Jesus say to us all? If said we should share all the food in the world that would have an immediate impact on current free market economics, for example.

Ultimately, if we lived the life suggested by Jesus the existing economic stucture would have to go - wouldn't it?

Opinions please.

I think he'd be ok with Bush and Blair...but hipocrites like Kerry he may suggest some confession for all the lies and flip-flopping he did. I think Jesus would see that the terorists need to be dealt with on their own soil...and that Sadaam needed to be taken out of power to end the suffering and mass graves. So I'd say he may not like the fact that war is going on...but it is a war of good and evil too.

I believe we'd have a reinactment of Jesus in the temple with the pharisees, knocking over tables, yelling at the world and religious leaders of today. The economic structure would be fine, it is the social structure that would have to change. The Bible says that it is much worse to cause another to sin, than to sin yourself. Think of all the things causing people to sin all the time. MTV would pretty much have to go...who knows what else.

He would say "Take a chill pill, homes! Why ya'll buggin?"

Who knows what he would say. He wouldn't object to war if it was for a just cause. Do you think he woud have objected to WWII? Look, people are given free will. Jesus knows this. He knows they have a chance to ask for forgiveness of their sins and have their slate wiped clean.

Jesus Christ is alive today, thank you very much, and He has a lot to say to world leaders. They just don't ask for His direction or listen to Him.

He would say forgive thy sins but those muslims got to go so let's start a war to end all wars to purify the lands of those infidels. Hey he was the most devout to his religion.

Render unto Cesar what is Cesar's, render unto God what is God's. He really did not get involved in politics. Go figure.

Jesus never said "don't ever go to war"

He said "render unto Ceasar, what is Ceasar's. Render to God, what is God's."

A clear seperation of church and state, as far as I see it.
