yes i meant year 12, can i do a nursing course at tafe? will that get me into uni?

Go back to school and graduate. Do you have any "adult education centers" near you?

Do you mean highschool? You can still become a midwife if you haven't graduated. You will need to decide if you want to become a licensed or lay midwife, and go from there. Licensed midwives have a bit more work and study to do, but more insurance companies will cover their clients. They also seem to have more restrictions in how they can provide care. Lay midwives aren't generally covered under their clients' insurances, but they have a little more leeway in the guidelines of care.

you might still be able to apply for uni but will need to do a year of general study at uni so they can get some idea of what level you're at. Just go enquire at the unis.

get busy. you can take doula training. you can become a nurse and then a nurse midwife. you can do all sorts of things. start going to school.
