Sort of. Turn System Restore OFF, then do a virus scan in Safe Mode. Upon rebooting, turn System Restore back on and the trojan should be gone. If, of course, your AV is any good.

malwarebytes is not for viruses, its for maleware such as spyware/adware......and so on. the best free anti-virus in my opinion would be microsoft security essentials. doing a system restore doesn't necessarely mean that the virus is gone, once the virus makes its way into a computer or laptop the best thing to do is to go into safe mode and try to get a reliable anti-virus software such as microsoft security essentials. if you're able to, install it and than update it, it'll probably tell you to reboot the computer which would be normal and while your pc is booting back up go back into safe mode and scan your pc from there. if all else fails than what you'll need to do is format your computer and by the way, limewire and frostwire are the exact samething, any song you try to download the file is bound to be infected, there are very few people left that are still using it ever since it was banned by law, so if i was you i would stop downloading songs from those 2 softwares

Yeah, as long as the restore point you choose is before you got the virus.
Good Luck!

usually not. you should use a combination of a good antivirus and a good spyware program. SPYBOT S&D is good with Trojan's but any antivirus software worth its salt that is up to date should be able to find and remove it or tell you how. some good free ones are AVG Free edition or Avast.
