lol my lack of education? I'm a college graduate you snit! ;) But come on people, Italy dives better than Greg Loughanis. Now I agree that diving in this world cup was a winning tactic, but it's still a PANSY tatic!! Do you agree or disagree?

By the way people, I'm born of Italian Heritage. I love everything Italian, except for the diving football squad. My Italian grandmother could take a hit and keep on standing while they crumple at a touch. It's horrible, we Italians are a lot stronger than that and I can't stand the representation this team has given to us.

Though I don't care for the Italian team and I absolutely love Zidane, it was a harsh move. But Materazzi had to have said something to make him get angry like that. But then again, Materazzi is known for both his mouth and temper where as Zizou is known for his temper. I think the Italians played on that knowledge. Dirty playing, but it was smart since it got Zizou out of the game.

Why would you be sickend by the Italian Soccer Team. First of all your "Only an Italian would crumple from a headbut to the chest" is not true. If anybody ( not just an italian) was head but that hard in the chest they would fall down and do that. Did you watch the game and see how painful it looked? France got a penelty kick because an Italian player acidently made them fall, maybe I think the penelty was a dumb decision but that doesn't mean that its wrong and all the french soccerplayers sicken me

Italy cheated it's way to the final and then had to use insults to win by getting ZZ kicked out. Has anybody seen the replay video of Grosso's great dive in the final minutes of the Australian match? Notice the smirk on his face afterward....It was so obvious the dive was faked. If it went into extra time the Australians may very well have won. Italy and Portugal as well played dirty and unfair, used fake dives as often as possible and cried in order to get an opponent in trouble. The final would have been a much cleaner and honest match if it was played between France and Germany. This is not a glorious win for Italy!

I assume by this you would not crumple. Can we get some video of you being headbutted in the chest (preferably by a professional soccer play or martial arts specialist) out of nowhere so we can compare?

BTW fall or no fall that is a red card and can not be justified by any means.

Hello_you do not react to a head butt_the player will never get kicked off the field.
I would have done the same as well. He got Zidane out - his last game and he left this way. Oh yeah- very proffesional reaction!
Italia won fare and square.

They played quite well and they won. Of course, they were very luck, meeting teams like Australia and Ukraine...but they won, so we should respect their performance. Although I don't like their attitude on the field, I respect their team, with one exception: Materazzi.
P.S: I am not from Italy and I wanted France to win :((

It's the act of the headbutting, not the "crumpling" that matters.
