That's too bad, although as someone who used to deal with this world by drinking and smoking pot, I can certainly understand that attitude.
But since I became a Christian and learned about God and why there is suffering and about his plan to redeem mankind and this currently fallen creation, I now have hope and a future to look forward to as I work in partnership with my blessed Savior to bring his will to pass here on earth.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
It's a whole lot better than living my life in a dream like state without understanding and reacting to bad news by doing nothing more than 'smokin' another spliff mon'. :o(
