I thought the movie was overwrought, but that's what happens when you let Ken Russell be in charge. (Ever seen "Litzomania"? Yuckola!)

Tommy is one of my fav. musicals. Oliver Reed was great and Ann Margret looked gorgeous as ever in it. It had its weird moments though. But it's a classic.

The movie was a tad over the top *but concider who the director was >)*, but the music more than made up for it. Plus, you'll never look at chocolate and baked beans quite the same way again *lol*
Say hi to Uncle Ernie and Cousin Kevein 4 me >)

I was also a huge fan of The Who...(preferred the movie/soundtrack from Quadrophenia myself over Tommy).
Then Pete Townsend came out and said he was a "woman in the body of a man"...and I kind of lost interest in them afterwards. Lol.
