To even imply that whites are now suffering from a version of apartheid is insidious and patently untrue.

To this day, the poverty level among the black majority of South Africa is much higher than among the white population.

The reconciliation movement led by President Nelson Mandela was almost unprecedented in history. Upon taking over leadership of the government after decades of brutal, murderous oppression, the black majority did not seek revenge, or some would argue even justice, but worked toward forgiveness and reunification of the population.

It is a shining example for all humanity.

Apartheid was an official policy in South Africa of racial segregation. Keeping blacks separate from the (richer, from England mostly) whites. It was eliminated several years back and now they are trying to heal. Blacks in south africa are the majority and many are poor and without things like health care, employement, and opportunities. Legal barriers are gone, but social barriers to equality still exist. the "movement" you refer to is probably the movement to change or overthrow apartheid.
