to give birth to a child having hazel eyes.
Husband's parents and his grandparents, colour of eyes is black and ---- wife's parents eyes colour is also black and her maternal grandmother colour of eyes is little hazel but her mother i.e. mother of grandmother of wife eyes colour was completely hazel like that of wife.
IN NUTSHELL :
Husbands side no one with hazel eyes -- all black
Wife's side. -- parents black eyes-- mother's mother little hazel -- mother's grandmother totally hazel. Please if you know how to calculate the probabilty please explain

because by the sound of it black is the dominant gene and hazel the recessive and the recessive gene appears 1 in 4

Definitely black. Too less chances for your child to have your eyes' colour.

by the way nobody really have black eyes is just dark brown is 50% because they get mostly thir dad genes.

They are both dominate colors so it's 50/50

there is always a 50% chance of having either yours or his and it mostly depends who has the strongest traits.
