How do I invest UK pounds in Canada securely from UK? Can the money be inpounded as I am not Canadian?

I personally would recommend finding an Edward Jones broker in your area. They do business in the UK, USA and Canada.

I live in the US and bought shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange through my Edward Jones representative.

Follow as long as you are a standard Chartered Bank saver, you can just withdraw what you want for your travel and can withdraw the rest at any Standard Chartered Bank in Canada when you need it.
