Before I was married I had a wonderful roommate with a huge pet collection, that she brought with her when she moved into my apartment. In the bathroom we had a baby leopard...I made her give it back to it's previous owner. We had a cayman alligator in a tank in the living room...it kept crawling out of the tank and onto the laps of unsuspecting houseguests who were sleeping on the couch. But my favorite pet, which we had for a long time was a coati, or cotamundi They come from Central America, and look like a cross between an anteater and a raccoon.

I lived in Washington, D.C.and I used to walk him on a leash when I went shopping or visited friends, and he charmed everyone he met. He loved to be petted, and when off the leash, would come to you for affection.
He was so social, intelligent, inquisitive, and always into everything.
He learned to use a litter box in 2 days.
He learned how to pull corks out of opened wine bottles and drink the contents, which he seemed to like a lot.
He learned how to open the windows of my car (I had the kind with a handle) to escape and explore.
He learned how to climb up the floor length curtains in my living room.
He learned how to turn on the water in the sink to take a drink, and much much more.

In short, he was a delightfu,l different, and very interesting pet

We have: 1 dog (half shih-tzu, half bichon), 2 hamsters, 2 rats, 2 corn snakes, 1 ball python, 1 trinket snake, 2 gargoyle geckos, 1 bearded dragon, 8 mice, a few hissing cockroaches, 1 giant african millipede, and about 15 tarantulas

My dog lives with my parents. She's a golden retriever called Amber and she's beautiful. At home, i used to have two Chinese Hamsters called Sweet and Sour, but sadly Sweey passed away so only Sour remains. :0(

When i move from my flat into a house, i want a Beagle and i will call it Jasper.

A Senegal parrot named "Eli." He's just starting to talk and his favorite sayings are "ouch", "stop it" and "What are you doing." He's mimicking me 100 percent. This is what I say to him whenever he gets into one of his biting moods.
