The most likely cause of kidney pain is an infection. Try drinking lots of water to flush the kidneys through. This might be all that is needed. If the pain persists go and see your doc for some antibiotics.
I would say it wasnt anything more serious as kidney stones cause excrutiating pain and sickness. Best wishes xx

Could be many things, but kidney stone is a likely reason. Having had several of these, I can tell you that it is the worst pain human beings can experience (worse than childbirth). You can control the buildup of the causes by drinking a glass of cranberry juice every day, preferably at night.

Kidney stones would be the most likely guess. Go to the doctors office or ER; have them do a urinalysis. This will check for blood in the urine (a telltale sign of a stone). Sometimes you can have a stone without blood in the urine. A CT scan would also help.

There are two common causes for kidney pain: kidney infection (pyelonephritis) and kidney stones (nephrolithiasis).
Could also be polycystic kidney disease or glomerulonephritis.
See a Physician immediately

Could be a water infection. That's the most likely - or it could just be that you're in need of a detox. Drink plenty of water and go to the doctor for a urine test if the pain persists.
