Looks like a lot of folks are putting AC/DC. I would have to say that AC/DC was more successful after Bon Scott died and was replaced, but not necessarily better. I like them both, and thought they were both outstanding singers, but I won't pick which one is better.

Van Halen was another band where this happened. Their early music with David Lee Roth was better than the music they put out when Sammy Hagar was the singer, but If you went to any of their concerts when Sammy was the singer, those old songs sounded better with him singing them than with David Lee Roth. This is a question that will always spark debate, everyone has their own personal preferences.

Survivor. David Bickler sang the big hit "Eye of the Tiger" but shortly thereafter Jim Jamison replaced bickler and secured that the band would not be a one-hit wonder by leading them back to the top 40 with hits such as "High on You", "I Can't Hold Back", "The Search Is Over", and "Is This Love."
