it is unfortunately fashionable these days to look towards violent methodology as the fast and effective means of achieving results. But, I truly believe that ultimately the non-violent approach has a greater moral force. The Indian Independance Movement has a unique place in the history of this planet only becuase of the non-violent civil disobedience methods of Gandhi. In the absence of that it would be just another independance movement and would not be worthy of the stature to which it has been raised in world history.
Bagat Singh is a great freedom fighter who must be accorded true respect. But Gandhi's approach speaks from a higher moral ground and it had the ability of at the end of the day converting the British into friends rather than enemies.

Bhagat singh was basically challenged the systemic structure of the society. Colonial rule in India established the various forms of strucutre in the Indian society for strengthening the colonial system and it was his belief that untill and unless we are not challenging the systemic stucture we are not able to get the total Swaraj but Gandhi demanded for dominance state means colonial structure will be the same but the rule will not be the same and ultimately it devloped the internal colonism in India and which we are facing at present.
