Well first of all get a place to stay here 'cos very difficult to get an apartment here.

If you want luxury, try to check-in at the world's only 7* hotel, Burj Al Arab, otherwise some 5* hotel like Sheraton, Renaissance, Hyatt, etc. For shopping, try City Center, Mall of Emirates, IBN Batuta Mall, Mercato Mall, etc. Have some fun by splashing at Wild Wadi or sandskiing, desert adventure safari, hatta treck, belly dancing, dhow cruise. Try also snow skiing at the Mall of Emirates. There are a lot of things to do here. Especially at this season, we have a program DSS (Dubai Summer Surprises) where shopping malls, hotel, and other business establishments are giving discounts.

Well it depends what you want to do? Of course you can do desert safaris and the gold souk. If you like to shop the new mall of the Emirates is cool but I like Ibn Batuta better because it is so amazing looking and it is way less crowded. If you want to party then Rock Bottoms is my favorate. The Irish Village is cool too and has good pub food. If you want to see something weird then check out Cyclones where there are rows and rows of Chinese and Russian girls whating for work. It is strange. Some of my friends rented a boat and guide for deep sea fishing. Good sushi at the Emirates Towers. If you are a girl there are lots of nice spas and it isn't that expensive. I like the Paris Gallary Spa in City Centre Mall. City Centre Mall is really busy but it is a fun place to people watch.

Dubai is really famous for its shopping malls, especially the new Mall of the Emirates, which is one of the largest malls in the world. This mall also has an indoor ski slope, Ski Dubai, which is pretty famous now, too.
They also host many sporting events, including tennis, golf, rugby, and horse racing, so you might want to see if any will take place while you're there.

Go to the Gold Suik... (gold shop)..... you will be amazed....go to the new ski slope they built..... its wonderful.....
