I went to check out at this new grocery store I've never been to on register 13, and my total was $6.66! Then on my way home, 2 black cats ran in front of my van and I squashed one of them.

Perrrty weird alright. I'd start wearing my garlic chain, paper my wall with the Bible like in the Omen.... Seriously, it IS from the
devil or satan (I refuse to capitalize here), only not in the way
you think. It's just evil trying to set you up for fear. That's what evil does, try to instill fear. Once it succeeds, it just becomes an
expotentially grown force and continues to feed.
Just ignore all this sh*t. Remember it as a day of fascinating
coincidences and nothing more. Go walk under a ladder, step
on the sidewalk cracks, laugh. And try to have exact change from now on...........

(and if you do believe in God, just say thanks. Might of been
worse you know. The cashier could have been the AntiChrist,
you could have been the 13th customer (hey- isn't today the 13th?), the cats could have reverted to demons...Just kiddin'
but if you believe, just say "thank you Lord for this rather
interesting day and the reminders of the tricks of evil and
for keping me safe". If you're not a believer, go back to the
above.

Have a nice day, and just ignore those gargoyles on the buildings when they wink at you.

And hey, if you made all this sh*t up, s'ok, I had fun with my answer. But if you DID, go to Yahell.

It was a sign the cat was going to be squashed. Go to another register next time. LOL

It all depends on whether or not you are superticious. If not, then be not afraid. If so, well, you're not alone. I myself am. Just try to keep your chin up, and balance things out. Try being extraordinarily nice to people. Although I am superticious, I believe Karma is also a factor.

I think that sometimes because of our superstitions we get uptight and then things start to happen because of that, not because of all the 'bad luck' signs.
