i have a presentation to be made for my speech comunication subject.my lecturer told me to find a topic but i dont know what topic is easy and is about current issues...i need your help.can u suggest some topics that will make my presentation more interesting.i dont like people watching me and hearing me but they dont know what i'm saying!i want a laid back topic not some serious topic coz i juz not know what i'll talk then...can you help me.you kindness will be appreciated.thank you....;)

The one topic I can think of is Flex fuel. That being cars that can run on both ethanol and gas. There are also cars that are now being produced that run on several types of fuel.
In Brazil the majority of cars sold are flex fuel cars and by 2008 (i think) they plan to be 100 % fuel independent. Brazil makes all the ethanol that runs most of the cars in the country.
Anyway with good research you can get into many angles... like why the USA didn't concentrate on alternative fuels while the rest of the world did and you can also touch on environmental issues.
Good luck with the project, what ever subject you pick.

How about talking about how love doesn't really exist anymore,
1) because there is so much divorce and people aren't willing to sit down and talk about their problems anymore (easy way out)
2) because roles have been reversed and more women are putting off families until they are older
3) because of the fact that people are too caught up in fashion, celebs etc :P

A laid back topic is to demonstrate something. Simple as that. Show how to make something, how to fix, how to use, how to do, how something works, is done, produced or made.
A few ideas: how to taste wine, to organize a surprise party, to print a digital photo, to make Irish Coffee, etcetera. Use props, and everybody will listen to your step by step explanation. Afterwards you can lay back as the applaude :-)

how about gas prices. It's current and there is plenty of material to be found on rising oil prices. You could probably put together a spectacular report in forty mins tops.

well i had to make a similiar oresentation as well so i know what ur going through.........well it may sound different but i choose amarican music as my topic.......what i did if i explained about various types of music that are there and about there history and stuff........did some resarch on the internet..........well i think thats a different kind of a topic..................
