Ok, I only read the first two books, so i don't know much about the story. Anyway, i've been wondering, where is Hogwarts located? Like, there is another realm for the magic people, or is it all in our world? And where do all the magic people live?

They live in the same world as the humans, but with magic they keep themselves hidden.
Hogwarts looks like an old ruin for non-magic people and they've used spells so that humans just remember they had something to do when they are about to enter Hogwarts territory.
Most wizards live among humans and make sure not to use magic in front of humans (there are laws for that)
For the movies I beleive they used Ireland for the location of Hogwarts; In the books the school is located in Brittain somewhere

Hogwarts is in England. Some people consider this a magical fantasy land but it actually just an island between Iceland and France. Magic people live among us and influence our daily lives - which is why the book is banned in schools in the Bible Belt of America (A truly magical place where anyone can become the Faerie President as long as he's not a faerie - but that's another story)

Hogwarts isn't in another realm, neither is the magical community. Mostly the Muggles or nonmagic folk just don't realize that they are there due to wards and magic used to make their homes invisible or neglected to the naked eye. Hogwarts actual location is difficult to pinpoint, but it is indeed in England, some say closer to Scotland.

hogwarts is located somewhere in the U.K. u can tell by their cool british accents!!! hehehe its all in our world, the magic people live with the no magic people (muggles). like harry potter lives with and around muggles and so does hermione. but there are some magic families that live away from the muggles like ron. but there is also a special magical place where there are only mgic people and it is called diagon alley, and its like the magic people own little town.

It is a secret-all the magic schools are hidden to the "muggles". The students don't really know either. I don't think it's another realm they live in it is just that they enchant their houses so muggles won't see. Keep reading the books! The movies leave a lot out! You can also listen to them on books on tape that you can get at the library. The person who reads it is Jim Dale and he is AWESOME. I don't work for J.K. Rowling I just lover her books!

The highlands of Scotland in our world, if a Muggle approaches they see a falling down wreck with a sign that says do not enter-dangerous. Check out this website it will tell you where most of the things in the books are and where the characters live.

hogwarts is in england, ALL wizards live in the same places muggles ("normal" people) do, all their buildings are disguised with magic so they cant see it, that is also why the wizards get fined when they do magic in the presence of a muggle

everythin is located in "our" world, they're just all cleverly disguised so muggles can't see it
keep readin! have fun! and dont worry, u'll start to understand things better as u go along. and try watchin the movies, but not till after u've read the book of the movie that ur gonna watch, it maay help u understand things more, but be aware they did change stuff for the movies
