1.Derek Jeter's shovel pass to putout Jeremy Giambi in the 2001 Playoffs.

i still to this do not know what he was doing there!!!!!!!!

2. Derek Jeter's face first dive into the stands for a foul ball.

3. AROD smacking the ball out of Arroyo's hand----
this is a favorite play because it was so deliberate and pathetic, yet AROD acts like "what do you mean I can't do that" even as a Yankees fan, that play is kind of comical.

Late entry for Georgie

Buck Dent's Homerun in the 1978 one game playoff w/ the Red Sox sending them into their 60th year of loser status

Bill Buckner's expert defensive play at 1st flubbing Mookie Wilson's swinging bunt sending the Red Sox to their 68th year of falling apart in the end.

Aaron Boone's homerun in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS against the Red Sox sending them into their 86th year of misery.

The best play that i have ever seen would have to be on July 1rst of 2004 when Derek Jeter dove into the stands to catch a ball that would have let the Red Sox beat the Yankees in extra innings. Because of that play the Yankees went on to win that game.

Of games I have personally attended it was seeing Eric Gagne strike out the side in the 9th inning at Dodger stadium versus the Montreal Expos.

My second favorite was when Ricky Henderson of the Oakland A's hit a home run against the Chicago White Sox after having been relentlessly heckled all game at Comiskey.

I have to agree the Jeter play diving into the stands was amazing.Although watching Randy Johnson vaporize a bird while pitching was pretty amazing as well.Doesn't happen very often and the first time I saw it during a game. Georgie needs new material. But from his picture it looks like he's crying against the wall again.GET USED TO IT! GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually seen this play in person, Jim Edmonds while playing for the Angels in Kansas City. The ball was crushed to dead center over Edmonds head (who plays shallow to begin with) and he raced to the wall and dove with his back to the plate and caught the ball while in the air.
