I try to think happy thoughts and usually end up hugging my favorite doll and crying it out. For some reason once I let go, I feel so much better.

sometimes we all feel down or worthless. This is as a result of our own actions or in-actions. Anytime we feel down, alone or worthless , we need to investigate and find out which action(s) or inaction(s) is causing our down-spirited emotions. Once we find out the cause of the problem, the next thing is to stop those actions and turn to perform actions that bring us happiness
Take a look inside yourself: NATURE HAS PLANTED IN EACH OF US A SPECIAL SKILL/GIFT . Once we identify this gift and develop it to the best of our ability, we find true happiness that lasts forever. Each time we feel down it is because we have lost focus or doing less than we are suppose to do to develop our special gifts.
Finally, we should never be bothered about people's opinion about our life, but rather God's opinion!! Occasionally, spend quiet time in a garden/pack to pray and dream about how you can develop your special gift for the benefit of all mankind.

Ask yourself for how long you have been feeling this way. Do you have a hard time getting out of bed every morning? Do you stress about small things that other people don't find bothersome? Is or was there a major change in your life that would make you feel this way? You may be suffering from depression, in which case, professional counselling may help you through it. Good luck.

Listen to some soothing instrumental music. Go out for a walk. Read something inspiring. Eat -yes, eating will help change your mood. Chat with your friend. Go for a good movie.

Go out and do something nice for a stranger for no real reason. It sounds boy scooutish but it works. Just once a day every day and in no time you'll be feeling much better.

When I'm feeling down I go for a walk or get on a bus and go someplace I've never been to before.

make good friends that can teach you something that bring you to higher standard.good luck.in the meantime try educating yourself.visit your local library.stay in touch with your family.and most important think about why your feeling the way you do ,we all make mistakes,pick yourself up ,could be worse.
