Ugh! The first movie was bad enough; for Heaven's sake, they had the teleplay in my 6th Grade Weekly Reader in the 70's. I though each Rocky movie that I ended up having to endure by sitting through it got progressively worse.
Even more sad is it doesn't look like ole Sly Stallone has been aging all that gracefully. I really don't want to see him without his shirt on!

"Rocky" was made for just over $1 million and raked in $220 million in worldwide ticket sales. "Rocky II" followed in 1979, and in the subsequent years MGM, Stallone and producers Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff teamed up for more movies culminating in 1990's "Rocky V." All the sequels grossed over $100 million in ticket sales, except for the final one, which took in a disappointing $40 million.
ITS ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE!!

They should have stopped after the 2nd one.
Who is going to pay good money to see a 60-something Stallone yelling to an old Adrienne. Give me a break!

It doesn't look good for Rocky.. I don't see this film doing well, but god willing, it will be the last in the Rocky series. That ship has sailed, I think.

The last few Rocky movies were duds. So I figure any new ones will just follow suit.

I don't think it will flop, I KNOW it will. Anything sly stallone is in is automatically a flop with me. He's an idiot, along with his self-proclaimed physic mother!

I thought it was a joke at first until I seen the trailer. It could still be a joke.

Keep expectations low. That way if it's half-way decent, it's a pleasant surprise.
