I added partypoker.com to the host file and to my Linksys router to block. The program still runs, & connects to the internet.

You can block your computer from accessing any website by editing your HOSTS file located here:

Windows XP = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Windows 2K = C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Win 98/ME = C:\WINDOWS

Open the HOSTS file with Notepad and add this line on the first blank line (the first blank is usually right under 127.0.0.1 localhost). Type:

127.0.0.1 www.XYZ.com

(of course change the XYZ to the name of the site you wish to block)

Now close Notepad and answer yes if prompted. Close Explorer. Test by typing the URL of the site you have just blocked into your address bar. It should come up "This Page Cannot Be Displayed".

Not 100% sure, but I think you go to your firewall options, and "ban this Ip address"...

but what are you gonna' do with all those chips in your computer?
