It's the most distinctive song in the film. It starts off very quietly with a guitar, and then it suddenly breaks into three very loud notes from I assume brass instruments.

It's so distinctive in the film because QT changes the camera position on each of the three loud notes.

I'm told that they also used the song on Celebrity XFactor if that helps.

Sorry. I know this is a pretty terrible description, but hopefully somebody will know what I'm talking about.

The one you are thinking of is "Battle without Honour and Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei.

If you mean the scene where Oren-Ishi is walking with her gang anyway.

whoo hoo is the most distinctive and annoying song but its mainly in kill bill 2 and sung by the japanese band in the night club just before she goes up against the yakuza

If it's what I think it is then its Shot You Down... think the original was done by Rosemary Cloney, relation of George.... I could be mistaken though.
