Fire!
It defines me and my inner state.
A burn to prove myself and do something i believe in b'coz when the fire rages nobody can stop it.
Actually, all these elements depict something very deep -
wind - the power to conquer and move forward
water- peaceful on the surface but rigorous within
sky - its infinity
earth - its warmth and motherly affection
But a choice had to be made!
Do give ur opinion!

Earth, because without it you would have none of the others. I am a firefighter, and the wind the water and the sky all effect what I do. The Earth is just the place to harness it .

Wind comes and goes. Water flows away. Earth will pass away. All that remains is sky... and it never ends, if you think about it a bit. ;-) So I would go for sky.

WIND. It can control water, fire, sky & earth. Its free & can dance wherevere it wants, unlike others. Its a sign of freedom, ferociousness, laughter, power, control & what not!

You do realize that wind and sky are air? I choose air so that everytime someone whispers on the wind it will be I to carry the message.

wind.........it talks to me, i am named of it , willow song on wind, i was born under the sign of the dragon (Cherokee calender) most might consider dragon of the fire but he rides the wind and wind feeds the fire making it stronger. i hear voices in the gentle breeze of earths love for all, i feel rage in the tornado and hurricane, desperation to save the world from destruction , and sad wailing cries in the night weeping for what must be done for mother earth to survive

FIRE. It mesmerizes its audience as it dances silently. It licks, it teases and it tantalizes its victim before consuming it like two lovers merging into one. It's ever reaching upward, crackling with life. It takes on new color according to its fuel. Have you ever watched copper burn? Wondrous hues of greens and purples on display for all eyes to behold. Now ya got me thinking about it so I'll go outside and get a bonfire roaring under the moon. :-)

cannot pick out of them they are so one...its a mix of all that makes one complete? i think thats the thing...wind is uplifting in movement, fire in its warmth and the design of flames so enticing, water in its feel quenches dreams of desire, the sky consoles in the blue and white of the clouds, and the earth is for rest, for my feet and body to just remain unhurt, unwrecked-is there such a word...anyway u'l understand...

Fire because it is the most amazing element. Destroying. Warming. Dangerous. Fascinating. Hypnotising. Alluring.

Water. It's nourishing, life giving, refreshing, relaxing. It can be a metaphor for life too. In the end of the great novel "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse, Siddhartha learns about himself and the mystery of life by watching the river flowing.

One of my favorite children's song growing up:

Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

lol
