first try: sitting down and talk to him: talk about what can be done to not fight as much.
try a marriage counselor: if no money then try to talk.
try and find a compromise somehow?
I would think after 9years of knowing each other would work out the kinks and things that bother both of you.
sorry, this is all I have. I cant get my husband to sit and discuss things that make us argue either. so I just do the best I can and try to change the way I say things and my tone. and the only things I can change is myself, cant change him. been married 16yr. and he still gets under my skin lol.

do you know when it all began?
you might get some understanding if you knew at what point things started going bad.
have you two had some alone time since the babies got in the picture?
maybe its time to rekindle to marriage..
time alone may get you both to talking and understanding one another. you may get to know eachother again...
a marriage without children is much less stressful and less time consuming from your part. He may just be feeling "left out" or too much responsibility.
9 yrs is a lot of love . you two will work it out .
? has "his word" always been law?

Sit that man down and have a long honest talk with him. Tell him exactly how you feel . His reaction should revel alot.

This man does not value you or your opinion. I would take him up on his offer and get OFF of his ride. See how well he rides his ride alone.
