we were able to somehow have a strong and sophisticated enough telescope that could see around the earth as if it were fllat and saw several times the earths circumference.

I am not a scientist, nor learnt in its ways so I do not know exactly how to articulate my question

We can not travel beyond the speed of light, but could we see beyond the speed of light and then see into the future?
Could we perhaps do this with satellites that could act in unison to convey their imagery, thus providing a peak into the future

Oh,i feel stupid,I hope you can discern my novice question

To answer your question if we can see the past and future, "YES". We can, but if we fulfil certain conditions. The present day science may find it difficult to grasp and explain these concepts, but there are people since ages who have actually realised this condition.

Please allow me to quote here a few paragraphs from the book "Autobiography of a Yogi", by Sri.Paramahamsa Yogananda. This book is a worldwide best seller for the past 5 decades and is available in all the bookstores across the world and also can be downloaded from the internet. The path is given in the source below.

It contains a chapter called "The Law of Miracles". Let me quote a few paragraphs from that chapter which explains how we can travel faster than the speed of light and thus transcend time barriers(which means we can see the future and the past).

"In his famous equation outlining the equivalence of mass and energy, Einstein proved that the energy in any particle of matter is equal to its mass or weight multiplied by the square of the velocity of light. The release of the atomic energies is brought about through the annihilation of the material particles.

The “death” of matter has been the “birth” of an Atomic Age.
Light−velocity is a mathematical standard or constant not because there is an absolute value in 186,000 miles a second, but because no material body, whose mass increases with its velocity, can ever attain the velocity of light. Stated another way: only a material body whose mass is infinite could equal the velocity of light.

THIS CONCEPTION BRINGS US TO THE LAW OF MIRACLES.

The masters who are able to materialize and dematerialize their bodies or any other object, and to move with the velocity of light, and to utilize the creative light−rays in bringing into instant visibility any physical manifestation, have fulfilled the necessary Einsteinian condition: their mass is infinite.
The consciousness of a perfected yogi is effortlessly identified, not with a narrow body, but with the universal structure. Gravitation, whether the “force” of Newton or the Einsteinian “manifestation of inertia,” is powerless to COMPEL a master to exhibit the property of “weight” which is the Distinguishing gravitational condition of all material objects. He who knows himself as the omnipresent Spirit is subject no longer to the rigidities of a body in time and space.

Their imprisoning “rings−pass−not” have yielded to the solvent: “I am He.”

“Fiat lux! And there was light.” God's first command to His ordered creation (GENESIS 1:3) brought into being the only atomic reality: light. On the beams of this immaterial medium occur all divine manifestations. Devotees of every age testify to the appearance of God as flame and light. “The King of kings, and Lord of lords; who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto.” {FN30−5}

A yogi who through perfect meditation has merged his consciousness with the Creator perceives the cosmical
essence as light; to him there is no difference between the light rays composing water and the light rays composing land. Free from matter−consciousness, free from the three dimensions of space and the fourth dimension of time, a master transfers his body of light with equal ease over the light rays of earth, water, fire, or air.

Long concentration on the liberating spiritual eye has enabled the yogi to destroy all delusions concerning matter and its gravitational weight; thenceforth he sees the universe as an essentially undifferentiated mass of light. "

For more details please refer to the book which has inspired atleast a few millions across the globe and will continue to inspire many more millions to come in the future also.

You could never see the future, though theoretically you can see the past. For instance...On the other side of the universe they are recieving old broadcasts from us, and any light that comes from our sun is years old by the time it reaches there. Some of the stars you see at night have already gone nova, but they are so far away that it takes a long time for that light/information to reach us.

Vision is relative.
You can not see things that are in different state. e.g you can not see things of the other room without using any device(Mirror, camera etc.).
So if you get any such device that allows you to break the barrier of the speed of life you can see the past. The device might be a ultra sonic rocket, time machine(?), your mind(and what is this).
In Indian ethics it's written that ancient age Yogis could see the past/future. Probably they found a way to control their mind power to run faster than light.

sounds like you have been watching too many old superman movies.

The earth spins at approx. 1000mph we can fly way faster than that and do all the time - there is no future or past to be looked at other than the time elapsed while flying.

Sure you will pass different time zones but that doesn't change the time where you started. - get a book that covers time zones and the rotation of the earth to get more on that. -there are no time machines that we know of yet.

NO. You would never be able to see into the future. You wouldn't be able to see into the past either, at least locally. If you had a powerful enough telescope, you could see that was happening in the past far away.

Don't have much info, but even if u could have seen beyond speed of life, we still wouldn't be able to see future or past. The only possible way of looking in future, as far as I know, is Deja-vu.

Why bother with a telescope when you could just call? ;-) No, you can't see into the futre. As for the other part, you need light to see, so you can't see past the speed of light.

For seeing or for communication we use electo magnetic wave.

Light is also an electro magnetic wave.

All these move with a constant speed C.

No one can move more than the speed of light.

hai i am an Msc undergraduate student in physics. According to my concept no one can not find his future&past .Because according to the basic principle of quatum mechanics no one can not find his future accurately .There would have an "uncertainity" with what ever we measured..
