Love has its positives and negatives... but love like hate, anger & happiness is but a mere human emotion. Enjoy it while you have it because like other emotions it doesn't last very long. Its nice when its fresh and new... not so nice when love chills and turns to resentment.

no, if you find love , and a good one, there is no other feeling in the world like it, It can make you try harder, it can make you care for yourself better than you did before. You can see the world as a good place because something in it is worth it. you'll have someone there to share your happiest and your deepest darkest moments. At the end when you ask what was I ear for....it really wont matter, because you have the best time off your life and someone shared it with you, you had someone to go through this never ending jeourney with.why would love stop you from doing your best at anything? If you want to travel alone, and never be home and don't want someone hanging around, then there is no love anyways, it should be a driving effort for you to do you best, you have someone that genuinely care. and can share what you did with great passion.There were many times before when i did something great and wished there was someone to share it with. I have that now, and knowing that things do happen, and at any time we could fall apart, i make it the best time that i can right now. everybody wants to be loved...and if you love someone then you win.....you made someone feel good, it's not only about ourselves...and most people forget that...you gotta realize...if you give love you should receive it, if you don't get it in return, you gotta move on.

Wrong! love motivates us to do the right thing. Even when we don't agree with what we know is right. Love is something we all want, and need. Some times love hurts, because it seems so far away. But someday love will return!

Your idea is useless and baseless. It's love that keeps the world going. Love attaches a mother with her children, love attaches a sister and brother, love binds friends and love makes relationships growing. Behind every creation there's love.

Its not useless it is quite beneficial to our survival, for example having kids requires love to make them (sometimes lol) and bring them up. But with regards to relationships it is a bit hard when the love goes wrong but its really really great when it goes right

That feeling you describe is infatuation and obsession - not love. We all struggle with our pre-occupations with others, but love is life-giving and life-affirming, it brings out the best in you, not the worst. The hard thing is we have to work on ourselves psychologically and become mature human beings in order to be truly loving. Its hard!

I don't agree with you, but I respect your opinion. Maybe all emotions have a purpose.
It is really irritating when supposed experts (who cite their quals) answer these types of questions. They talk with such high authority as if what they are saying is absolutely true.

no love is not useless.
it is that feeling that makes everything worthwhile and yes sometimes you are going to be dissappointed that is a given.
But I would rather have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

yes, love is useless. it makes us happy for a moment but
disturbed for the whole life. it just foolish to be in love.
