i think they decide the year before so we cant know next years till a bit later

2008 has not been determined yet, but the 2007 All-Star game is being held in San Francisco next year. It's the first time the same league has hosted the game in back to back years. It usually alternates, but not next season. The NL hosts again.

You do not know until its announced the next day. But in 2007 its in San Francisco
