Look in the wilderness, I don't see many wolves with their teeth falling out because they don't brush them.

Cool I never thought of that. I know that rodents teeth perptetually grow so they need to constantly chew to keep them in line.

Actually, they DO brush them!

Carnivores-
When they chew on bone and gristle, they scrape tarter off their teeth.

Herbivores-
Many of the plants have such a hard structure, that it keeps their flat teeth clean.

Domesticate dogs don't usually get "BONES" to chew on(although, sometimes they do.) Having something to chew on often helps. Sometimes, it is just easier to give them a dog biscuit or remove the tartar yourself by wiping their teeth with paper towels or using a tooth brush and special tooth powder for dogs.

The logical explanation for this is because animals do not eat the junk, and sugar that human beings do. Because they do not eat the same amount of sugar, except natural sugar, they do not have the decaying effects like humans do. However an animals teeth slowly decay over time, but look at the average life of an animal, when you think about it logically, the average animal doesn't live all that long but if they did it is most likely that we would see the effects of decay over a long period of time.

Well, I've personally seen a lot of wild animals with dental problems! ;)

The teeth of animals are neatly packed and their gums are strong but as they grow older it obviously gets bad and that's when most have these problems. We do not see too many animals with bad teeth because, sadly, they die out of hunger or pain, because to them teeth are such a vital part in their daily lives. It's not like they can go to a dentist and get a new set of teeth or fix broken/bad ones. :(

uh they chew on things a lot and that keeps them healthy. still animals have to have teeth removed in zoos due to infections. infections kill a lot of those in the wild

their teeth frequently do fall out - and a wild animal with no teeth will very soon die or be killed

however, their teeth aren't are bad as ours gets because their diets are generally better
