the only thing u need to know is that u should spend sometime urself!!!
just be alone and think wat r those stuff u wanna do or u feel like doing....and trust DO watever u feel like doing....
try it u will feel better and relaxed....spending time alone is like exploring oneself.....cos at the end ur the one who knows urself better than ne1 else U r ur best/soul mate.....u and only u can give urself peace of mind

Okhay, this may sound absurd, especially coming from somebody who has never done it. Meditation, may be the answer. Not getting too philosophical ,but I have seen people become absolutely serene after being able to reach that feeling of nothingness (even if for a second). It is worth a shot and it's all about breathing (which perhaps you already are good at).
Good finding, what we all wish for.
