I really don't like them pressed. The whole nature of blue jeans comes from way back when and cowboys - they just do not look right pressed. Jeans should be natural. I think if you pull them out fresh from the dryer they look best.
If they happen to be dress blue jeans than iron. These are made to look more dressy and can be pressed.
Oh - I think (and this is just me) that if I must see pressed jeans I would rather them be on a female - men just do not look right in them and the rugged nature of the natural look of jeans accents the masculinity of the male.

It depends on the look you are tryong to achieve and where you are going... When pressign jeans, ALWAYS do it inside out. If you want center creases, get a handkerchief and iron over that so that the hot iron does not come into direct contact with the denim... it buffs it and makes it look too shiny if you starch them and it wears down the weave of the fibers...
