Poly Heme is nothing but a pharmaceutical company's cheap stunt. I know that the only way to cop out of the study is to wear a medical bracelet saying such. But where do you get the bracelet?? If you ask me, if Poly Heme was such a great medical breakthrough they wouldn't need to test it only on the people who can't say no. Why not test it on patients who are aware of the decisions they're making? Obviously there is something fishy going on with this Poly Heme. Scarey, really if you think about it. And I also saw on 20/20 last week, after trying repeatedly to reach someone at the pharmaceutical group for a statement, they denied several times. What have they got to hide? There are just too many questions surrounding this Poly Heme that remain unanswered. And if you ask me, it still seems too controversial for using on unconscience patients. I just would like to know where to get one of the bracelets to prevent paramedics from using Poly Heme on me!!

I am sure it has been preliminary approved by FDA to be used as a substitute so there is no need to ask patients for their consent. Other wise i dont think there will be any testing happening.

that would be great because then people wouldnt have to give blood and it wouldbe readily availiable for people who need it. plus there is no chance of spreading HIV
