I was sixteen. My mother put the all eternal curse on me..."I hope you have a child just like you when you grow up!!" I knew at that moment that I knew more than her, which must have meant I knew it all.

I am 38 now, I had a child just like me, and though I know I don't know it all, I knew enough to raise my son to be a better person than I am, and I still know that my mom is a total wac job.

I am one of those rare people who knew it all at age 8. No body told me anything, I didn't get it out of books, I didn't read newspapers, and I never saw any of it, I JUST KNEW IT ALL! From life, death, relationships, mental illnesses, birthing, hate anger, love, respect, what (family) will mean in the future, skin deceases, the entire workings of the human body, religions, the elderly, all animals and how they survive, the spoken languages, strife in the world, Boy, I knew it all and still do. It just somehow all came into my head. The best way I can describe it is when I slept, it was as if all the encyclopedias on the planet would open up and empty all their contents into my little kid brain! They say I have a high IQ and to this day I still can't explain how or why this all happened. My friends and family call me the, (counselor) and come to me with all their problems and questions. Well, that's it, all I have to say, except I know YOU will not believe me!

I knew it all whenever I was a teenager and back talked my mom and was defiant. I wasn't as rebellious as some kids now days but did have a nasty attitude and very unsocial skills. I have learned that if you want to be anything in this world you have to work for it and that means being nice to others learning your manners, learning where you came from and where you are going. Being my mother is in the military I have always had a firm foot implanted in me whenever i need so to speak a kick start on life. I now appreciate all of the qualities i have learned from my mother.

Oh big bear!
I was 17 when I knew it all -
I truly did!
Now I know I will never know
it all, that the world is alot meaner
and there are very bad things and
very good things that will take you
by surprise all your life.
(I was also in love with my first love
then, and I've learnt you never stop
loving your first love!!)
