I hate reality shows because when you put a camera infront of someone it ceases to be real , because they act in away the wouldnt normally act , People like Ozzy and Haulk Hogan get these stupid reality shows ti boost there no talent having daughters music careers , its not enough there rich little brats but they also get to be celebrities and music deals just because the famous parents got a reality show , to boost there aspirinf careers i hate brooke hogan and kelly osbourn ,,,,, someone shot me now.I want to know if you agree????And i also want to know whats your most hated reality show ?????

Agreed. Ironically, I liked The Osbounes, the first season of the Surreal Life, because when they first came out they were original, and Survivor:Pearl Islands, but I got really upset when Rupert didn't win and MadMad House. And Punk'd used to be okay.
The rest is all people eating bugs, or just being plain old mean, or celebrities acting stupid. I'm so sick of it I could scream! All it does is give already rich talentless people more money. Simple Life, Newlyweds, and Chaotic are the all around worst.
I also hate the one where the guy gives away the roses to the girls he wants to stick around. Ugh! I hate the passive, yet bitchy roles these women are painted into. Top Model bites, too! So do the Idol shows!
The only thing good about reality TV is that I'm watching far less television than ever! I go to the park, for walks, just OUT! And no commercials!

I agree completely.the worse is big brother.the first series the got reasonably normal people in there but from that they realised that the more eccentric characters were more interesting.since then they have been getting weirder and more attention seeking people.all they want is fame by having to do nothing for it.just to be a personality.these shows shouldnt be called reality.they dont mimic real life and they never will cause they will always go with what the audience wants.i think they are stupid

Reality shows are also scripted.
You're right that the shows like Hulk Hogan's are PR pieces. They're scripted and mainly generate exposure for the star and their family. Hogan really did his mostly to promote his daughter.
Even the ones that star supposedly "real" people generally include mostly actors and models and are scripted to some extent.

I hate it too. It speaks volumes though on the level of maturity and thinking of viewers worldwide, who continue to watch these crap on the tube! I hate Paris and Nicole`s reality series. I dont even know the title as I cant bear looking at it for seconds.
