You must get this checked out.Its possible it may be nothing but it could be malignant melanoma.
But if its caught early enough you should be o.k,But make no mistake if you leave it and it is melanoma, you will die from it.I had melanoma and nearly died mines genetic im not moronic enough to sunbathe, but people must take any changes in marks on their bodiesextremely seriously,as there are many types of cancers that it could be.The face gets so exposed to sun so you cannot afford to take a chance.I was told i would eitrher die or lose my leg my mole was small but they only just got it,and 6 years later im o.k scared and with another 4 years before all clear.Mske an appointment today. You havent said much about it only its changed,is it one colour 2 colours? any mole that is more than one colour is melanoma for sure.I dont mean to scare you but please go today if you can.:):)

I have the same on my forehead. It's spreading. the doctor said that these kind of pigmentation is a fairly common occurence in women nearing their 40's and it can be due to several factors. Some medication reacts this way to sunlight.
My doctor also said there was nothing to worry about although nothing can be done about it either. Whitening creams don't do a lot and laser resurfacing surgery or chemical pealing by professionals is the only way to remove it. Still, if you're worried, you ought to see your GP too.

Without knowing your age, its kind of hard to know what its cause might actually be, but my best guess would be its an age spot.
Age spots, also known as sun or liver spots are typically harmless, flat brown, tan or black spots that appear over time on sun exposed areas of skin..shoulders, back and chest. Age spots are caused by prolonged and repeated sun exposure or sun burns and usually appear later in adult life.
Sun spots do not need to be treated unless they are changing in shape and color, or are getting bigger, and it sounds like yours actually is...see the doctor, if nothing else for the peace of mind.

You must seek profession l care at once!
You must go to a doctor and make some test.
Is always recommend that as soon you see a birth mark, a dot or lunar increase its shape, volume or change colour, see a doctor so he can tell you what is about. This is serious conditions that if you treat it at once you will not have any problem.

It's probably just pigmentation. It can be caused by being on the contraceptive pill for too long, or can just happen. Usually the sun will make it darker. You can get it removed by laser treatment, but chances are it will come back again. You could try seeing a beauty consultant for a bleaching agent

Go do a skin biopsy to rule out skin cancer immediately. Any moles on your body that've changed in size, appearance, or shape, should be checked out at once. Skin cancer usually has an excellent prognosis if treated early.
Good luck!
