I'm using a custom built computer. When I first built this computer I was able to run two World of Warcraft games at one time, with no lag. Lately, as I try to open both of them, the comptuer will restart after about a minute of them both being on. This never used to be a problem before, but now I can't get two of them run at the same time without a restart. I've got Panda AntiVirus and Adaware and check my computer often. I'm running an AMD x2 Dual Core 3800+ wtih 2gb ram, radeon xt1600 vid card with 512mb, and a 380 power supply.
Thanks in advance.

Well, just checked, the power supply is 500w
CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model TWINX2048-3200 is my memory and
ASPIRE ATX-CW500WP4 ATX 500W Power Supply is my PSU
Btw, whats the temperature that i'm aiming for, and is there a program that monitors it?

It sounds as if the cpu is overheating, the power supply is going out, or you're running out of ram. Try closing all other programs besides the two that you want, and the operating system. If this solves the problem, it's probably the ram, if not, check the core temperature. If the core is ok, then it's most likely the power supply, which only costs about 80.00.

Hi, I just wanted to say that "Darqblade" has given you a great answer. The other answers are not correct or not complete. The problem in order from most to least likely is: Part of the RAM in your machine is either failing or the RAM is being used by backround programs. Before starting WOW, Open the Task Manager and end all PROCESSES that are open under your user profile other than the explorer.exe. The Power supply might also be failing and it will soon stop functioning completely if that is the case.

The maximum temperature of the Athlon 64 X2 3800+ is 65 Celsius.

A program to monitor CPU/mono temperature is called Asus PC Probe (assuming you have Asus mobo)
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3301.html
Chances are either your CPU is overclocked too high (and thus overheating) or not getting enough power because of the video card. The x1600 takes a pretty good amount of watts at full load. Because this problem only occurs at load, it is safe to assume it is either overheating or inadequate power. Try changing out the video card, getting a new power supply and/or seeing if the CPU is overheating. It could be any of these things. If you have anything overclocked, set it down a little.
RAM errors are usually a lot more consistent, but you might use a program such as memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/) if you feel paranoid about it.
Good luck!

You've pretty much answered your own question if it works fine after a reboot. You've got programs running in the background which take up your resources that you've added. Shut a few programs down manually (ctrl+alt+del) before starting WoW or keep rebooting before playing.

You will either need to upgrade your ram, or your power supply one of them is too weak to handle the software.
