What you have is a Lexmark application, usually required for a Lexmark printer to function properly. You can go to Google.com and enter "lexpps.exe" into the search bar and pull up many web sites. Here's just one you might find interesting:

Just some FYI: anytime you have an error code or another filequetion like lexpps.exe, go to Google and do a search, You will be amazed at how much info is available through Google. I know I was the first time someone showed me! :-)

Hope this helps.

do you have a Lexmark brand printer? It may be trying to update it's own software.........

if you do have a Lexmark printer...it's probably safe to let it do what it has to.
