She is about to start school and it has been suggested that she has trouble paying attention and is always on to the next thing. She has always had trouble sleeping from the start and sometimes has dreams talking in her sleep about her day to day activities whilst being asleep. Generally her behaviour is good. She has developed recently a hearing problem which is being looked at by the doctors. It has been suggested that taking fish oils would improve her concentration but having read up a bit not sure which one would be the right one have you any ideas what may help????

Omega 3 is definitely a winner. It's even being very successfully used for children with ADD. Go for pure Omega 3, not mixed with other omegas. And give a couple caps a day. u can squeeze them into food to disguise it if she wont take the caps. But dont go for the type thats all flavoured in a bottle beacause the sugar is just gonna make things worse. And cut sugar from the diet.

i does no longer be shocked if some muppet on the storage filled oil / water up in the incorrect filler aspect, it may ensue. Get a compression try of the right finished, once you're in the AA they'll attempt this by the roadside, failing that take it to a storage. a demonstration of HG failure is consistent white vapour from the exhaust even even as the engine is warmed up. Does your coolant aspect drop? Do you fill it up oftentimes? by using the undeniable fact that's a sealed equipment, accepted topping up isn't mandatory.

It's way too early to be thinking about giving her supplements, try putting some lavender oil in her bath and putting a little bit on her pillow. When you tuck her in with her bedtime story, she should drift off quite easily.
Some children find concentrating for even a short period of time difficult, try working on this with something that she enjoys, make a game out of it, anything but medication.
Good luck

Cod liver oil mixed with orange juice and vit A and B tabs. Daily finger watching and not moving her eyes from your finger, sessions. Read to her, or better still, tell her add-lib stories. My son is a genius, they call him a gifted child, he read Lord of the Rings at 3 years old and could reason out complex calculus at 5. My 2 year old daughter speaks 3 languages, fluently.

Whoa....I'm gunna catch you before you fall in a huge pit of life.....She's 4 years old....people that say she has "trouble concentrating" are people that want you to buy their A.D.D. medicine......not going to sleep and not concentrating is EXACTLY WHAT A HEALTHY CHILD DOES! Read her a bed time story tuck her in......and tell her to go to to sleep.....Try watching super nanny, despite the fact it's tv it somehow brainwashes the people that think about their kids the way you do to get real....sorry if this sounds harsh but really....don't mess your kid up early by feeding her pills....pills at young ages can cause health problems later in life.

How about Bach's Rescue Remedy? It's a flower essence, and it will help with sleep (and stress and agitation), and that might help with everything else!!

I agree to the answerer who said don't let the docs give her a diagnosis of ADD -they jump to that SOOOO quickly - and so do teachers who have a student with some energy - remember 4 is a great age to be a dreamer!!!!

Good Luck!!!

Try some camermile tea (sorry not sure of the spelling). This works like a bomb. Its a herbal tea, give it to your child before bedtime. No sugar or milk.
