What do you mean by "heavy" and "on earth?"
Lawrencium is technically the heaviest metal, but the question said "on earth." Lawrencium is synthetic, so even though the atomic weight is 262 I don't think it qualifies as the right answer. There are other "heavy" metals like neptunium and plutonium, but again they are synthetic.
My suggestion would be uranium, it has an atomic weight of 238, and averages about 2-3 ppm in the earth's crust.
Mercury at 200.6 and osmium at 190 are nowhere close.

Lawrencium has an atomic weight of 262. It's a rare earth metal, but its definitely the heaviest.
By contrast, the atomic weights of some other metals are listed below:
Nickel 58.71
Iron 55.847
Osmium 190.2
Iridium 192.2
Mercury 200.59
georock1959 makes the point that Lawrencium is synthetic. I would argue that it can be synthesised on Earth, making it the heaviest metal on earth. Symantics eh?!
