First of all, there are two type of empowerment: Internal and External.

Internal empowerment is simple, its through confidence in ones self and attainment of educational development that corresponds with ones career choice. Without confidence and without the sheepskin on the wall, a woman will not be honored, only taken advantage of in life.

External empowerment some call superficial, but when you think about it, attaining power is a superficial external goal. External empowerment comes from independence economically. If you make the bucks and can take care of yourself, then you have the power of choice in life. Another empowerment women have, although many may chose not to use it, is between their legs. Guys are suckers for the opportunity to reach intimacy and women have the upper hand (empowerment) if they use this power wisely. I'm not saying women should be promiscuous, but I am saying that sex is an asset of women who want to achieve power.

I think the empowerment of woman i very over rated. We haven't came that far at all and why should we?

I recently had a son and gave up my full time position and am loving bein a mother full time. Now I am looking to go back part time but know no matter what happens I will still do the majority of the housework, even though I am working too.

These things just 'fall' on the woman to do and I see it in lots of realtionships, even ones with 'new men'.

Women, as well as men, are empowered by always believing they have the right to live their life to the fullest. They are empowered by never giving up when they know it is what they want. Most of all, they are empowered by believing in themselves at all times and learning from their mistakes.

woman will become empowered when they start serving men again. Women were designed for taking care of the family and their husbands. Any deviation from this renders women weak and powerless. Woman who want to become empowered without the help of men are either lesbian, feminists, or just plain stupid, or hey, all of the above.

Well if you're Catholic, Christian, Baptist, etc. then you believe in the teachings of the Bible. Then you also believe that woman was created from the rib of Adam to serve as our companion so you'd think that their very existance would be enough to shut them up but obviously not since we are still debating what else they deserve thousands of years later.

i believe that to be a joke. women empower themselves, and likewise this disempower themselves. there is nothing that peopel should fear, becasue fear is the ultimate control. those who control fear control everything. let go of fear and there is nothing that can control you.
