Well for a marriage to be blessed under the islamic religion a single rule must be obeyed, which is the union between the couple (marriage) must be made public. In other words people must know the couple are now married and there must be at least 2 witnesses to the marriage ceremony who are muslim.
Your problem is that she is Hindu and muslims can only marry fellow muslims, christians and / or jews. The big problem is therefore not the procedures, the marriage is not legal under islamic law.

No, it is not religiously accpeted because of the acceptance of the Vedic scriptures read during the marriage. Under Islamic law, the boy would be guilty of zina unless he has nikkah, which is still not considered to be acceptable with a hindu. Either way, this marriage is not accepted by either religion (especially considering that in the hindu belief, your mate is predestined for you and for other lifetimes to come, and he would have to make the steps around the fire agreeing to that). That cannot be so with a Muslim.
The only way this could be accepted by anyone is having a civil service, but it is still in violation of each persons respective religion. One or the other has to convert for any religious proceeding to take place. I know no one that would authorize a hindu or muslim ceremony in this situation.

Legal if you register your marriage according to your govt rule . But in respect of religion both of u have to come at one religion . otherwise it looks odd really !!!
Love is universe . Its not bound with any religion, country or any bindings . Both of you loved and decided to being marrage, and u dud it, thats all . I appriciate it.
Wishing all the best
