Do you ever tell your 'significant other' how many people you've been with...or do you lie???

There's honestly only been 4 men in my life...but i'm kinda worried he won't believe that cuz i used to be a stripper (only for the money) and he's never asked....so he assumes it's a lot and he doesn't want to know

What good does it do to discuss what you cannot change. I have been married 12 years and we have never even once discussed the past. I am true to her and that's it.

Well... I did tell him, because I didn't want to have any secrets from him. But if there were like 20-30 men in your life... I don't know. How would you react if your significant other told you that? I would think about it all the time and wonder if he's comparing me to them. Sometimes it's ok to lie in order to save your relationship.

What ever happened in your past is something you can't change. There's no reason to bring it up. Sometimes if you do, you'll make for a very uncomfortable situtation and it could hurt one another so, leave lying dogs lay.

Your past is your own and you have to live with it. No matter how it is !!!

That don't ask, don't tell policy sounds good for this situtation, don't you think ???

You should be honest with your partner. On the other hand, some things are better left unsaid, so you could say that you've been sexually active without getting into any detail.

I think if the subject comes up, you should be honest with him. If it hasn't been an issue, it's obviously not bothering him and he loves you no matter what.

If you feel like you need to tell him because it will make you feel better... You be the one to decide.

Finally after years of asking, I told him. The answer turned him on. Since then I give him details and we have done some other stuff too. Ask me on yahoo and I will tell you. Angela----enyawe2000@yahoo.com

if he honest with u ,u must be honest too,but if u don't want to say that and want to consider it from the past,so hide that information and it is not lying it is hiding some private things, good luck.

well, that depends on whether you think they really need to know.
The past is in the past, nothing to be done about it actually. so just look forward together and be more concerned about today and tomorrow than about yesterday
