Obviously it was not the singer's original name. The funny thing is, though, that he took the name of a 19th century music composer. So it is in fact a real name!

Yeah it reminds me of my grandfather ... He use to that he was adopted and his real name was Englebert Humperdink ,and he had a long lost brother named Ferkecklepeck .. ( he was just teasing us kids
