It's unlikely because conditions are vastly different than on the early earth when there was no life present. Any life originating now would be quickly eaten up by existing organisms.

There are different hypothesis about the origins of life on earth. According to one of them life has originated from particles of organic matter, which have fallen on the earth with meteorites and, under its favorable conditions, evolved into its present diversity of organisms ( the panspermia hypothesis). Still others suggest that life has appeared on the Earth in the process of biochemistry synthesis. This statement is supported by the fact that certain types of organic compounds have been produced artificially in laboratory conditions which scientists believe are close to those on earth when life firstly formed. As those conditions are quite different from the present it is not very probable that life may be appearing now. What is sure, however, is that organisms constantly evolve and new species appear on the stage.
