What if the whites had White Entertainment Television (WET) like the blacks have BET. The Blacks would blow an aorta. They say its because of slavery!!!!. What a crock of @$%#. I didnt own any slaves and neither did my parents or my grandparents or great grandparents. And no blacks alive today, can say they were slaves as well and their parents or even close relatives can say they were slaves. So im not guilty of slavery and shouldnt have to pay for it. The blacks are just using it for an excuse to get what they want for nothing. Iam not a racist but I get sick and tired of hearing about the slavery excuse. I have good friends that are black and are very good people but most of them have the same views.PLEASE GET OVER IT

1) A black expo is for black owned businesses to gather and sell thier products to people who might not get a chance to buy the products. I mean I can't go to Borders books and get a large varity of black authors. I can do that at a black bookstore or expo. Also some blakc businesses are located in areas that are not safe for ANY race and many have not advance far enough to put thier business on-line. So expos help them. There is no need for a white expo since most stores/malls do not have black businesses.
As for BET. Most blacks don't even watch that now WHITE owned network. An we do have white networks. Lets see we have no black shows on CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC, PAX, USA and a few others. The CW ony has 4 on Sunday and only 5 blacks that even appear on shows not airing on Sunday. Disney, Nick, Spike Tv, MTV & VH1 have 1 black show.
I see NONE of you complaining about the Spanish networks. We have about 7 of them in Dallas.

Martin luther king is rolling over in his grave. His whole life was about not judging folks by the color of their skin but the content of their character . When I was a kid I watched black tv shows, It didn't matter what color the people were. Now days I usually don't watch black shows cause they seem to always play the race card or the victim card .Plus their humor is very immature and makes them look unintelligent .They should have a women's expo for all women of any color race or religion. Does anybody think for one minute they would let women throw a expo called white women expo ? Old Jesse Jackass jackson and rev al the dullest knife in the drawer sharp ton would be marchin in the street so fast they would create a wind storm ! Please lets include all people in everything. Not segregate, we're are not living in the fifths any more.

A white person would be welcomed at a black expo. The title just usually means that it is ran by blacks and/or the content is of a black cultural nature and of black interest, such as a black hair expo (things specifically designed for the special needs of black’s hair). If you are a white salon owner who is interested in black hair or whatever, you are welcome to come. The name is simply a description of what to expect.

Politics, same thing as having Black History Month, and not having White History Month. Most likely white people will not be wolcomed even though they probably say they are, but since no one can complain otherwise hell is raised, I think we got a race reversal problem. Just like Bush is using Rise to argue with foreigh leaders such as the Russians, internationaly would look much worse if the Russians told her to Foff because she is black(can be looked upon as racism around the world) than if they were to tell Bush to Foff.

Why are we STILL hung up on the idea that the color of your skin matters? Any reference to an " any color" expo should be abandoned.
How about a People Expo and everyone is welcome?
BTW... both are racist if someone with a different skin color is excluded but it is politically incorrect to say that.

I believe in equality for everyone. Any race or gender. Racism still exists, and will exist for a long time to come because of arrogant thinking. To single out a specific race, gender, or religion is basically racism. More-or-less discrimination, but still. Until AMERICANS of all races and genders are tired of racism and truly want equality, it will not happen. I understand how Black Americans could feel the way they do, without experiencing it. It's a very sad thing, BUT, if you truly want to be a Black American or Mexican American or female American, you have to let the past go and focus on the future. There can't be equality until all races look past skin color, and just consider themselves an American. Black History Month, cool, learn about the past. However, if you learn about the past just to form ammunition to use going forward to justify why this needs to happen or that, then it is holding it over everyone's head. We used to be slaves also, until the American Revolution.

all i keep seeing is ignorant white folks bringing up the only two things blacks have in america nationally....
"black history month"...
"BET"
all i have to say is get the hell over it ....bet is White owned ..so technically WE DONT EVEN HAVE THAT.....so what the hell are all these white folks complaining about..
what?!...the world and enough ...u got to make sure YOU ARE IN EVERYTHING anyone else does in america.....be real for a moment ...blacks shows are not really on national television, we are not really welcomed in the surburbs, we are not welcomed in the beauty pageants, we are frowned upon when we are the only black student in a college classroom, every month we have to learn about white americas history in class ALL of OUR SCHOOL YEARS.....etc etc etc...we are not welcomed in corporate america and EVERYONE knows it, black, white, polkadotgreen, everyone knows that blacks are looked upon as dirt, and thieves, and ghetto etc etc etc....
so who wouldnt bond together when u have the whole world hating on you just because you have a darker skin tone....
Racism still exists today but nobody wants to bring up REAL issues in this world..like what the hell is bush doing to our country.....nope people still hung on skin color....
GET OVER IT!!

Yahoo should take points away for errors in logic like this. Guy starts with a false premise and expects everyone to just accept that it is true. Is our education system screwed up or is the asker just a meathead? Oh well what can you do.
