there is no scientific clue available for it. but at night time only cockroaches come out of their hiding places whether it rain or not.

Not especially.

Asian, American and Australian cockroaches (often called "water bugs" or "palmetto bugs" will fly quite readily, but they aren't more prone to flying when it's going to rain than at any other time. They do often fly AFTER it rains because the water floods them out of their homes forcing them to find other accomodations.

The smaller German roaches can't fly at all.
