She was popular in the late 80s and early 90s. I know she isn't much of a singer (just like Britney and Madonna) but she still was somewhat of an icon.
As a little girl I loved her songs.
So how come she never sang a little number for American Idol???
It's not like her songs were really hard to sing?!

That is a good question. Girl, who knows. People do strange things. Probably requested some obscene amount for her to sing one of her songs or maybe Simon didn't want her to sing. lol :)

in case you study her previous, Paula Abdul isn't a singer. yet she is a robust dancer. Soooo, she should not be mentoring everyone to sing. She would not recognize something about making a music. you may as well have Ellen Degeneres to mentor singers. Soooo it somewhat is why her contestants are dropping. Simon both, would not sing... i do not realize why those judges are mentoring the singers... perhaps L.A. Reid is conscious what the target audience and visitors like... yet Paula and Simon and who's the attractive female, besides.... they ought to have in basic terms enable the singers to come back to a decision their own music and allow them do their own project. it somewhat is why the rankings suck.

ya...she should sing...she's almost 50 though so thats probably why she doesnt sing anymore. Im srry she is very great and i love her just like you =)

well she was mostly about the dancing i thibnk it was something she did once for extending her career and after her fame she stopped..........

BECAUSE SHE CAN"T SING... never could & never will.........& I am THANKFUL that we don;t have to listen to her horrible voice again.... NO Talent & now she is on cheap drugs...........
